This is a used item I found at my parents' house. It runs on two AA batteries. The battery contacts are rusty, but it did work. When you press the play button, it makes a working sound but the reel doesn't spin, so it can't play at the moment. When you press the swift forward button, the reel spins and fast forwarding is possible. I'm selling it as junk. Era Deck
